I started singing this song since I was 16 and never knew it was about Vincent Van Gogh. I even knew the song title, but was oblivious to the true meaning of the lyrics until Joo Hock from the Bucky Group sent me a slide show with his paintings. It is about a man that nobody understood when he was alive and only appreciated after his death.
