presented by

.
Had we not loved ourselves at all, we could never have been obliged to love anything. So that self-love is the basis of all love. -- Thomas Traherne
.
According to the song : "Greatest Love of All "
.
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all.
.
Self-love may be the greatest and most important love we ever experience in this lifetime. However, "learning to love yourself" does not seem so "easy to achieve." For most of us, genuine self-love seems so elusive, so much harder to grasp than we expected. How we feel about ourselves has a lot to do with how others feel about us.
.
If we pour and pour from a vessel without ever refilling it, eventually, it will run dry. So, if we are like that vessel, how do we refill, recharge, re-energize, and replenish ourselves, so that we will have energy and love to give to others and to the world? The answer is: by loving and giving to ourselves, first.
.
Loving ourselves is the foundation. In order to have loving relationships with others we must have loving relationships with ourselves. Answering the questions below is the first step:
.
"What would you do if you believed you were completely responsible for the presence of love in your life? What relationships would you heal? How would you act if you believed you were the source of love in any encounter? How would you change the way you treated yourself?"
.
Just as a lack of self-love has a vibration, so does unconditional self-love. It has a quiet, steady radiance which draws others to its light.
.
You can explore the universe looking for somebody who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and you will not find that person anywhere. -- Unknown
.
If you aren't good at loving yourself, you will have a difficult time loving anyone, since you'll resent the time and energy you give another person that you aren't even giving to yourself. -- Barbara De Angelis

Friday evening presentations are an excellent opportunity to meet new people, build long-lasting friendships, and learn to live a spiritually-centered and loving life.
.
Here is the music video of the song itself. Listen to the song paying close attention to the lyrics. I have heard this song many times, but didn't realise there is so much power in the lyrics.
.Lyrics: "Greatest Love Of All"
.
I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone to fulfill my needs
A lonely place to be
So I learned to depend on me
.
[Chorus:]
I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
.
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
.
[Chorus]
.
And if by chance, that special place
That you've been dreaming of
Leads you to a lonely place
Find your strength in love
